The Osun State Council of Obas Rotational Vice Chairman and immediate past Chairman of the Ijesa North Council of Obas, His Royal Majesty, Alayeluwa Oba Dr. Akeem KING Benjamin Ogungbangbe, the Owaloko of Iloko-Ijesa, has extended warm felicitations to the Paramount Ruler of Ijesaland, His Imperial Majesty, Oba Clement Adesuyi Haastrup, Owa Obokun Adimula, Ajimoko III, on the occasion of his 77th birthday.

Oba Ogungbangbe described Oba Haastrup as a revered monarch whose reign has been marked by wisdom, dignity, and unwavering commitment to the progress and unity of Ijesaland. He noted that the celebrant has continued to inspire traditional leadership in Osun State and Nigeria at large through his exemplary qualities.

The Owaloko of Iloko-Ijesa further acknowledged Oba Haastrup’s contributions to cultural preservation, peacebuilding, and community development, emphasizing that his leadership has remained a source of pride and strength to the Ijesa people. He prayed for many more years of good health, divine guidance, and impactful reign for the monarch.
