In the last few years, Asiwaju Olayinka Fasuyi has been the vanguard of progress, development and transformation in Ijesa land. A great mobilizer of men and resources, who sophistry and persuasion move his friends to action at the call of help.
An IJESA OBOKUN patriot, you will not appreciate, except, if consumed by envy and jealousy, ascribe him some honour.... He is an “akanda....Eni OLORUN da, ti o se farawe” meaning a very unique and peculiarly divinely made person, who cannot be copied or imitated. )

Asiwaju Olayinka Fasuyi means a lot, to so many people within and outside his native Ijesa land and in the global world.
First of all, he is a very committed patriotic IJESA Obokun son, whose thoughts and conducts radiates his genuine love and affection for his people and fatherland. Asiwaju Olayinka Fasuyi ‘s name is synonymous with selflessness, sacrifice and dedication. An IJESA OBOKUN patriot, you will not appreciate, except, if consumed by envy and jealousy, ascribe him some honour.... He is an “akanda....Eni OLORUN da, ti o se farawe” meaning a very unique and peculiarly divinely made person, who cannot be copied or imitated.
Been close to him made me, read him to discover his uniqueness and peculiarities. His special mode of dressing drives some folks mad/crazy out of envy and jealousy.
His views and opinions on issues, are very matured deep and devoid of sentiments. His intellectual acumen and native intelligence is super and not at the level of most folks.
I feel at ease and alert, while discussing issues with him. He radiates true love. He does not discriminate and look down on people. Always ready to help and assist the less privileged, most especially through his scholarship awards to teeming of IJESA students. Like Dr Lawrence Omole, a believer in Education been a great legacy, one bequeathed to our children...

Talking about Aafin Adimula Royal Palace, where I was born some decades ago, and the great history behind the place of royalty. Asiwaju Olayinka Fasuyi motivated Ijesa Obokun folks to build a benefiting Palace for our monarch and Father, the Owa Obokun Adimula and Paramount Ruler of Ijesa land.
He mobilized folks to open a new chapter of dynamism towards change in Ijesa land. Same zeal, he displayed towards the Geriatric Hospital at the Old Multipurpose Health center, where Olori, my mother worked for several years as a Nurse. The upgrade of the Osun State College of Education, Ilesa to a full-fledged Conventional university is another testimony to the ingenuity and leadership capacity of Asiwaju’s capacity as a great team player and leader.
My humble words of advice to our people is “E ma fote bohun todara je” - do not destroy what is good and awesome with conspiracy, envy and jealousy. Let us all admonish GOD’s gift to Ijesa land. Asiwaju Olayinka Fasuyi is indeed GOD given to Ijesa land.
Asiwaju, my wife and I, Adeoye wish you Sir a happy birthday, good health in the service of mankind, great wisdom in proffering solutions to societal issues and to obtain divine mercy and grace from the ALMIGHTY GOD.
