The immediate past Osun State Governor and current Minister of Marine and Blue Economy, Adegboyega Oyetola CON has donated a whooping sum of 20million naira to launch a book authored in commemoration of 15th years coronation anniversary of the revered traditional ruler, Ataoja of Osogboland, Oba Jimoh Abidemi Oyetunji Olaonipekun.
The donation was made on Friday, at the book launch ceremony organized at the instance of the monarch's coronation anniversary, held at De-Distinguished Event Centre, Osogbo.
While donating the money on behalf of the Minister, the Executive Director, Marine Operations, Nigerian Ports Authority NPA Engr Olalekan Badmus popularly called Omo Oloore, heartily felicitated the monarch on the landmark coronation anniversary.
The Minister identifies with and celebrates Oba Olaonipekun as he marks 15th years on the throne of his forebears.
"I am happy to witness this occasion laden with euphoria, excitement and celebration galore in honour of our father, the Ataoja of Osogbo, Oba Jimoh Abidemi Oyetunji Olaonipekun Larooye the 2nd. As a sign of my heartfelt wishes to the coveted palace, i am donating N20million to launch this book authored in celebration of Baba. I pray Almighty Allah continue to imbue our Kabiyesi more intellect, divine guidance, wisdom and knowledge as he continues to lead the great sons and daughters of Osogbo in particular and residents of the state capital in general", the Minister said.
