The Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, National Inland Waterways Authority (NIWA), Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji, popularly called AMBO, has felicitated Nigeria's First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu on the occasion of her 65th birthday anniversary.
Oyebamiji, a leading aspirant of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in the forthcoming governorship election in Osun State, extolled Senator Oluremi Tinubu's immense contributions to the national growth and development, describing her 'a virtuous woman of inestimable value and a rare gift to mankind.'
Senator Oluremi Tinubu served as the First Lady of Lagos State during the two-term governorship tenures of her spouse, the former Lagos State Governor and current President, Federal Republic of Nigeria, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu between (1999 and 2007) and three terms as the Senator representing Lagos Central Senatorial District, (2011-2023).
Oyebamiji in a congratulatory message, lauded Senator Oluremi Tinubu's socio-economic, political and democratic trajectory that had impacted greatly in humanity.
The NIWA boss acknowledged the celebrant's indellible imprints as the 'Mother of the Nation' noting that her philanthropic gesture and generosity through her foundation had distinguished her as a seasoned politician, religious leader par excellence and public administrator of repute.
According to Oyebamiji: "Celebrating our mother on this auspicious occasion of her 65th birthday is to celebrate worthy existence, impactful life, triumphant, success, achievement and above all, godliness.
"It's on record that Senator Oluremi Tinubu is not just a woman but an enigma in whom we are pleased.
"As a former Lagos State First Lady and a three-term Senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, she served meritoriously with the fear of God and rare passion for her constituents in particular and the nation in general.
"Today, we can make bold to say that her indelible imprints and legacies had been a source of inspiration to all.
"Being a virtuous woman, Senator Oluremi Tinubu's proven record of greatness, earned achievements in education, health, agriculture, commerce, human capacity development, women emancipation and youth empowerment placed her high among the women folk.
"She is indeed a better half of our President, a responsible wife and mother, a role model and epitome of humility, motherhood, discipline, integrity, dignity, religiosity, dedication, faithfulness and character personified.
"She has been a beacon of hope and paragon of inspiration to young and old particularly womanhood as her verifiable imprints, achieved through the dint of hard work, perseverance, astuteness, steadiness and resoluteness had placed her on the good side of history and recorded her golden name on the sand of time.
