Asiwaju Olayinka Fasuyi, omo oke Baba Okuta, if by what and how you were as a young boy growing up in Ilesha was claimed to have been what the oracle pronounced at your birth, then the present day what and who you are will make people say that the oracle was correct!
What and who you are today is not a product of some learning but an item so divine programing from the beginning.
As a young boy, amongst your peers, you were the first to procure the prestigious Raliegh bicycle.
While your peers attended parties in their shirts and trousers, the same way you are today, you would come in dressed in your damask danshiki.
Even at such occasions, you went beyond the range of your peers to donate money in "guineas" as in one guinea which was One Pound one shilling!
During your university days, you wore a mega beard that got you a mega nickname. Fidel Castro!
Who you are today is who you were.
*Your mind does not know "mini."* *Whatever you choose to do must be "mega" enveloped in excellence.*
Your breathtaking outfits attest to this, and your designers know that making clothes for you is a mega task!
The landscape of Ijesaland was at a phase where there was an imperative need for an "Akinkanju" that will be an "Asiwaju".
Your choice was not an accident. It was providence 's determination to change the story of Ijesaland. If it was the oracle that pointed you out for us, then it was an epochal "Ifa fo're'...the oracle has spoken well.
*Your giant strides have dotted our landscape*
*It is now said that "the* *Ijesa don't do small things"*
You are a leader always near,
With the focus and precision of the eagle, you guide the way.
A shining star that bears rays across Ijesaland.
As a gift from above, you bring light,
wisdom and peace, to banish despair and hopelessness.
Your heart beats for the good of his people- Ijesaland.
A true leader whose soul is energetically aglow with a vision for a better Ijesaland.
Your walking stick, like a magic wand draws wisdom from the celestial realm to douse emerging tension in our polity.
Your weighty, glamorous, jaw dropping flowing agbada carries an alluring fragrance that banishes kitchens where evils are brewed against Ijesaland
Your feet so swift that where they step, heaps of tension disappear amazingly!
*And your cap*, like the proverbial "muye muye", arrests your detractors while you win your battles!
Asiwaju Olayinka Fasuyi, may your new year, bring joy to your heart and your family.
May your steps in service to Ijesaland continue to inspire many others to join in work for our Ijesaland.
Asiwaju Olayinka Fasuyi, Omo Oke Baba Okuta, congratulations! Happy Birthday. I wish you many happy returns of the day.
Signed:
Prince Biodun Lufadeju.
