The Association of Local Governments of Nigeria (ALGON), Osun State Chapter, welcomes the decision of Local Government workers across the state to resume work at their respective Local government secretariats tomorrow Monday 06/10/25.
As the ALGON Chairman - I Hon Samuel Idowu Abiodun commends the workers for their courage, maturity, and renewed commitment to serve the people at the grassroots. This action shows their genuine dedication to progress and stability in the local government system.
We appreciate their readiness to work in harmony with the duly elected APC Chairmen across all the 30 Local Governments of Osun State. This cooperation is essential for effective administration and the delivery of good governance to our people at the grassroot level.
ALGON assures all workers of a conducive secured working environment and continuous engagement to address their welfare and legitimate concerns through dialogue and understanding. No victimisation or harassment for anyone who resumes his or her normal work as we have determined to encourage partnership and cooperation to make positive improvements and impacts on our people.
Together, we shall restore efficiency, accountability, and meaningful development at the grassroots in Osun State. I welcome you all back to your work and Iam wishing you all a successful resumption.
