The planning committee of the Iwude Ijesa Festival/Ijesa Unity Carnival has unveiled the invitation card for the highly anticipated event, scheduled to hold on Sunday, December 21, 2025, at the Ilesa Grammar School Sport Field, Ilesa, Osun State.
The event, themed "Ijesa Unity Carnival," being its second edition is being hosted by His Imperial Majesty, Owa Clement Adesuyi Haastrup, Ajimoko III, Owa Obokun Adimula, and the Paramount Ruler of Ijesaland, with His Excellency, Sen. Ademola Jackson Nurudeen Adeleke, Executive Governor of Osun State, as the Special Guest of Honor.
According to the invitation card seen by KAKAKIOODUA at the Iwude Ijesa Secretariat, Oke-emese palace square, Ilesa, the event promises to be a grand celebration of unity and cultural heritage, bringing together traditional rulers, chiefs, and people of Ijesaland.
The Chairman of the Planning Committee, Chief Afolabi Igbaroola, FCA, and his team have extended an invitation to all and sundry to join in the festivities, which are expected to feature, homage to the Imperial Ruler of Ijesaland by legbelegbes, music, dance, and other cultural performances.
