The gesture draws a stark contrast to the *Adeleke dynasty*, the politically influential family that, critics say, has “feasted on state resources while the medical sector languishes.” In the words of *1 Samuel 18:6‑9*, the people of Osun are urged to “mock” the dynasty’s excesses and instead celebrate Alakija’s superior success.
