A chieftain of the Osun All Progressives Congress (APC), in Atakumosa West Local Governmet, Oluwole Komolafe, has extended warm birthday felicitations to former Osun State lawmaker, Babatunde Festus Komolafe, describing him as a political juggernaut and a symbol of enduring leadership in Ijesaland.
In a goodwill message made available to journalists, Oluwole Komolafe lauded the contributions of Hon. Komolafe, popularly known as BFK, who served three consecutive terms representing Atakunmosa East and West State Constituency in the Osun State House of Assembly.
He praised the celebrant’s commitment to grassroots development and effective representation, noting that his legacy continues to inspire a new generation of leaders across the constituency.
Oluwole Komolafe, a proud indigene of Okebode, reflected on his own journey in public service, stating that his passion for community development dates back several years. He disclosed that he began his political career with an aspiration to serve as Councillor in Ward 7, Atakunmosa West Local Government in 2007.
Educated in Ilesa, where he attended Holy Trinity Primary School, Omofe, and Ilesa Grammar School, Komolafe later proceeded to Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, where he obtained a degree in English Language (BA/B.Ed).
Speaking on his current political ambition, he revealed his intention to represent the people of Ijesa South Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives. According to him, his aspiration is driven by a desire to serve, empower constituents, and contribute meaningfully to socio-economic development.
“I believe in inclusive politics, effective representation, and creating opportunities for youth and women. Our people deserve a stronger voice and tangible development,” he stated.
Beyond politics, Oluwole Komolafe is an entrepreneur with interests in travel consultancy, flight ticketing services, and real estate development. He is the Chief Executive of LAVKHOM Investment Limited and also operates Worldwatch Travels and Logistics Limited.
While celebrating Hon. Babatunde Festus Komolafe, he wished him continued good health, longevity, and greater accomplishments, describing him as “our own Oluomo of Ifewara” and a leader whose impact remains indelible.
The message concluded with prayers for more success and fulfillment in the years ahead for the former lawmaker.
