The Ijesa Community Development Association (ICDA) has celebrated the Olumobi of Imobi-Ijesa, Jacob Adetayo Haastrup, on the occasion of his birthday, describing him as a distinguished son of Ijesaland and a symbol of visionary leadership, integrity, and service to humanity.

In a congratulatory message seen by KAKAKIOODUA, the group praised the monarch for what it described as his remarkable contributions to public administration, traditional leadership, education, youth mentorship, and community development.

According to the statement, the life and career of the royal father remain an inspiration to many across Ijesaland and beyond due to his dedication, wisdom, humility, and commitment to societal advancement.

The association noted that from his early beginnings in Ilesa, the monarch rose through the ranks to achieve distinction in public service, policy analysis, communication, and professional administration.

The group also acknowledged his contributions through the National Hospital Abuja and several professional and community-based institutions where he reportedly served with diligence and excellence.

The statement further commended the monarch for promoting peace, development, and unity within Imobi-Ijesa and the wider Ijesaland community since ascending the throne as Olumobi of Imobi-Ijesa.

According to the association, his reign has continued to attract honour, progress, and pride to the kingdom while strengthening cultural values and communal harmony.

The ICDA described the traditional ruler as “a rare gem, a builder of lives, an ambassador of peace, and a true royal father,” adding that his legacy of compassion, visionary leadership, and commitment to humanity would continue to stand the test of time.

The group prayed for God’s continued guidance, divine health, wisdom, peace, strength, and long life for the monarch as he marks another year.

The congratulatory message was signed by Chief Mrs. Yemisi Falope on behalf of Ijesa sons and daughters in ICDA.
