The meeting, which attracted party members from across the local government area, witnessed a large turnout as supporters gathered to mobilize grassroots support for the party ahead of the election. Attendees were entertained with music and dancing before the commencement of proceedings.
The event began with a Christian prayer, followed by the introduction of party leaders and stakeholders in attendance.
In his welcome address, the Ward 9 Chairman expressed optimism about the party's chances in the forthcoming election, stating that the level of support and enthusiasm among party members was an indication of victory at the polls.

He urged party members to intensify grassroots mobilization efforts in order to secure victory for the APC in the forthcoming governorship election.
Also speaking, a party leader, Hon. Idowu Falade, said the campaign would focus on sensitizing residents about what he described as shortcomings in the current administration, while encouraging members to remain united and committed to the party's objectives.
The Chairman of the Campaign Committee, Hon. Olusayo Abimbola, assured party supporters of adequate security during the election period and encouraged eligible voters to participate in the electoral process without fear.
He further alleged that there were issues surrounding the management of state security funds, stating that the party would continue to highlight such matters during its campaign activities.
At the conclusion of the meeting, party leaders announced that the next rotational ward gathering would hold at Idi Ose Market, Okesa, on Monday, June 15, 2026.
