Four Years After, Osun Still Waiting for Investors – APC Chieftain Backs AMBO for 2026 ‎

‎A member of the Media and Publicity Committee of the Osun APC Campaign Council 2026, Mr. Yakubu Atanda Adedeji, has criticized the administration of Governor Ademola Adeleke over what he described as its failure to attract meaningful investments into Osun State nearly four years after assuming office.

‎In a statement made available to journalists, Adedeji said the governor came into office with promises of transforming Osun into an investment destination but alleged that the administration has fallen short of expectations in the area of economic development and job creation.

‎According to him, the state has yet to witness the level of industrial growth and investor confidence that was promised during the 2022 governorship campaign.

‎He attributed the situation to what he described as a lack of economic vision and leadership qualities capable of attracting serious investors to the state.

‎“Investors are attracted to environments that demonstrate stability, competence, and strategic leadership. Unfortunately, Osun has not become the investment hub many residents expected,” he stated.

‎Adedeji further argued that public perception of the current administration has become centered more on the governor’s public appearances than on economic achievements and developmental milestones.

‎The APC campaign council member maintained that Osun requires a leader with a strong background in finance, economic management, and public administration to drive sustainable development across the state.

‎He expressed confidence in the governorship aspiration of Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji (AMBO), describing him as a candidate with the experience, competence, and economic expertise required to reposition Osun for growth.

‎According to Adedeji, Oyebamiji possesses the capacity to attract investments, create employment opportunities, improve infrastructure, and connect communities across the state through purposeful governance.

‎He said the 2026 governorship election presents Osun residents with an opportunity to choose between continuing with the current administration or embracing what he termed a new vision for economic prosperity and development.

Adedeji concluded by urging voters to support Oyebamiji’s candidacy, insisting that the APC flagbearer represents the leadership needed to move the state toward greater economic progress and sustainable growth.
