ILESHA—West Africa’s biggest ICT and phone manufacturing company, RLG has increased its foothold in the industry with the commissioning of a 50 million US Dollars Technology City in Ilesha, Osun State.

In addition, it is expected to create over 10,000 jobs both directly and indirectly.

The dream of setting up such a facility was propelled  by the leadership and vision of the state Governor, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola, who supported the idea from the outset especially because it has as its main goal the creation of jobs and the transfer of technology.

The technology company, Rlg in partnership with Adulawo Technology Company, recently secured a multi-million dollar contract for the production of terrestrial broadcast set top boxes for Nigeria.

The Federal Government, through the management of the Nigerian Television Authority, Nigeria Television Authority TV Enterprise, said the decision to partner RLG Adulawo was a result of the capacity of the company to deliver on the terms and conditions attached to the contract.
