AGAIN HON. AJIBOLA FAMUREWA IS BRINGING OPPORTUNITIES TO OUR YOUTH THROUGH TECHNICAL AND ECONOMIC EMPOWERMENT PROJECT

Hon. Ajibola Famurewa is the member of the Federal House of Representative representing Atakunmosa East/ Atakunmosa West/Ilesha East/ Federal Constituency. He contested for a seat in the Federal House of Assembly in the 2011 elections and won.

In the 2015 elections, he again re-contested for the Federal House of Representative under the Platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and won.

Apart from facing his legislative duty which is to represent his people well by contributing in the lower chamber of the National Assembly to make laws that will affect lives of ordinary Nigerians positively, he is actively involved in youth empowerment aiming to improve quality of life through periodic organisation of youth empowerment programs.

The latest in his quest to better the conditions of live of the youth of his constituency is the organisation of a year training program through technical and economic development project where children and young people are encouraged to take charge of their lives with the aim to improve quality their of life.

The 2017- 2018 Ijesa South Federal Constituency Technical and Economic Empowerment Project (TEEP) involved 400 trainees and 70 trainers. The program is already wounding up as the successful trainees are now preparing for an elaborate graduation ceremony where empowerment materials related to the vocations they have been trained will be handed over to them.

For one year the selected youth were trained to be professionals in fashion designing, hairdressing, barbing, tiling, shoemaking and so on. And for two days the trainers and trainees were at the Constituency Office of Hon. Ajibola Famurewa in preparation for the graduation ceremony that is coming up very soon.
