The leader of the Osun APC Female Aspirants Group who is also the House of Representatives elect for Irewole/Ayedaade Federal Constituency, Hon. Mrs. Taiwo Oluga wrote on her Facebook timeline;
"I was with Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola a leader, a man to emulate and our icon on a courtesy visit with the female aspirants of the state of Osun.
" The group visited the erstwhile governor of the state of osun to appreciate him for running a government with gender balance, Ogbeni Aregbesola is a leader who believes in women and therefore gave women chance in his administration.
" We also appreciated the former first lady of the state Alhaja Sherifat Aregbesola who stood by us and for opening her door to us always, she is a mother to us all and she proves it always.
" The former Governor who is the architect of modern state of Osun, took his time to meet us and discussed with us. He encouraged all women to always believe in hardwork and he said only by making effort shall we achieve. The former Governor went further to challenge all women to work on developing themselves instead of focusing on material things which warrants to nothing at the end.
" Indeed Ogbeni Aregbesola is a rare gem and a man to drink from his wealth of knowledge, we appreciate his words and urge all political post holders to emulate him by giving women chance at their table."
