Presenting their demands before the Osun Speaker, the students reiterated that some of their leaders who supported the progressives goverment in Osun that have graduated have been neglected. That Union Leaders that identified with the government should be considered for appointment.

Comrade Oderinwale Elisha, the NAOS national president decried the increase in the tuition fees being paid in Osun tertiary institutions, therefore asking the Speaker to use his good office as legislative duty to set up a committee to investigate happenings at the institutions sitting the Osun State University and the College of Health Technology, Ilesa, where there are some of courses that are not properly accredited or approved  particularly when the graduates of the institution's 4year Higher Diploma program are not mobilized to participate at the National Youth Service. They also want the Ode-omu Cooperative College that once functioned as a Polytechnic to be revived.

Responding, Rt. Hon. Timothy Owoeye thanked the Students Union representatives for the visit and enjoined them to put their demands and requests in to a template and address same to his office, promising them that all the issues raised will be addressed. He noted that as the Majority Leader of the Assembly, he played a notable role to convince the erstwhile Osun governor, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola to give out buses to the Students Unions under the last regime.
