Hon. Akeem Adesoji Olowoopejobori, the Chairman of Ilesa East Local Government has urged Nigerias to intercede in prayer for the nation as Muslims faithful in the country and across the world celebrate Eid-el-Kabir.
In a commemorative message sent to our correspondent, Olowoopejobori urged Nigerians to always promote acts that enhanced brotherhood.
Emphasizing on the lesson of Eid-el-Kabir, the Council Boss said that Muslims should use the yuletide to celebrate Prophet Ibrahim’s complete obedience to the will of Allah and as a reminder of our own willingness to make sacrifices in obedience to God.
He also appreciated the determination of the State of Osun government under Mr. Gboyega Oyetola to make the state a model for good governance by consolidating and building on the giant strides achieved by the erstwhile governor, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola.
Hon. Akeem Olowoopejobori said that the impact of the State of Osun government is evident in the health sector pointing to the ongoing renovation of Public Health Centres all over the Local Governments of the State, ensuring security of lives and property and prompt payments of Osun workers full salaries among others as he gave the assurance that this administration will continue to prioritise the welfare of the citizens.
