Owoeye Charges Politician on Stewardship

The speaker state of Osun House of Assembly, Rt Hon Timothy Owoeye  has charged all political office holders to always give back to their people so as to give account of their stewardship.

Hon.Timothy made this appeal on Thursday, 12th December, 2019 at the Commissioning Ceremony of a Borehole Project and the giving hand of charity to widows from each of the political wards of Olorunda State Constituency that the Deputy Majority Leader, Hon. Kunle Akande represents at the State House of Assembly.

Speaking at the occasion, the OSHA Speaker urged them not to neglect their peoples who voted during election but to stand on party manifestos. "We need to stand with present administration in the state for goodness sake" he added.

He advised the party chieftains that they should maintain voting pattern in future elections.
He said they should not let what is not relevant separate the party faithful and followers.
He noted that no individual can do it alone but rather join hands together to lift the party to greater height.


He urged people of both Osogbo and Olorunda State Constituencies not to be divided while government and politicians rely on their votes.

According to him "please don't let Osogbo and Olorunda be divided because politician and government rely on your votes".

In the same vein, Hon.Moshood Kunle Akande appreciated party leaders in Olorunda for standing by him and their support as he promised to do more for the constituency and society at large.

He said" By God grace before the end of next year I will still give my stewardship again".

Also speaking at the occassion, Hon Abiodun Kilanko, Hon Ahmed Anisu, Mrs Musiliu Ibrahim, Hon Shola Oladepo, Mr Richard Tinubu of Ileri Oluwa APEX group all gave kudos to the lawmakers for his attitude towards his people since he was elected into the State House of Assembly.

One of the beneficiaries and widows, Mrs Omotunde Folasade of Ward 5 who spoke on behalf of all other beneficiaries, appreciated the good gesture of the parliamentarian.

The empowerment included 19 widows with #10000 each, training of 26 hairdressers, fashion designing and batik cloth making. Others include training of 120 job seekers from Olorunda Local Government on Supermarket Management and Techniques.

The dignitaries at the program among other people include Alh Moshood Balogun, Hon Taiwo Sumonu, Hon Jamiu  Olawumi, Hon Shola Oladepo, Hon Laide  Ajibola, Hon Bukola Olabopo, Hon Omolaoye Felicia, PA Odebumu Azeez, Hon Abiodun Kinlako and Hon Kunle Kudaisi.
