Ahead of the grand finale of the 2019 edition of the Iwude Ijesa Festival, an Ijesa people's Cultural Gala Night was organized by the festival's Planning Committee on Thursday,19th of December, 2019, at the newly constructed Oba Adekunle Aromolaran Civic Centre at Ereja, Ilesa.
The programme was put together to showcase Ijesa culture before an audience that really enjoyed the diverse and opulent Ijesa heritage through cultural dance and music. The programme featured a variety of dance troops and entertainers from across the Ijesa land that entertained, educated and facilitated the appreciation of Ijesa people also involved a gala dinner where varieties of Ijesa people's delicacies such as, kango, muke elewe, abari, moin-moin, igbalo, ekuru and ogoro were served.
The event is attracted many people including civil servants, politicians, entertainers, community leaders.
