Oyetola Launches Joint Task Force Operation Against Kidnapping, Cultism and Illegal Mining

In furtherance of the State of Osun's commitment to rid the state of all criminalities and guarantee security and safety of her people, the governor, Mr. Gboyega Oyetola, this afternoon, Tuesday, 28th April, 2020, flagged off the Joint Task Force Against Kidnapping, Cultism and Illegal Mining in the State of Osun.

The Joint Task Force is a collaboration of the Army, the Police, the Air Force, the DSS, the NSCDC and the Immigration Service, and it shall provide operational support for Amotekun to fight cultism, kidnapping, illegal mining and other related crimes.

I charged the JTF officials to emmbrace their tasks with all sense of patriotism, integrity and diligence. I also enjoined them to work together as a team and eschew all acts that can compromise their calling and effectiveness, including bribery, corruption,high-handedness and recklessness
