Asiwaju of Ijesaland adds to his long list of charitable contributions...donates a Staff Club House to OSCOED




 


The Asiwaju of Ijesaland, Chief Yinka Fasuyi may be one of the Yoruba people's richest and most influential person, but the Ijesaman's charitable contributions is as extensive as his involvement in business management consulting, the academy, philanthropy, as well as religious and tradition.



The 66-year-old most recent philanthropic project is the donation of a Staff Club House to the management and staff of Osun State College of Education, Ilesa.




Speaking on Friday 12th February, 2021, at the event that marked the grand opening of OSCOED Staff Club named Asiwaju Yinka Fasuyi Club House, the donor remarked that he is contributing his little quota to facilitate improvement of the cultural, friendly and academic activities among the teaching staff of the college that has been in existence for 43 years while emphasizing that the Club House will bring positive interaction between the teachers of various departments of the college as well as providing recreational activities for the staff members.




OSCOED Provost, Prof. Kolawole Kazeem who led the college management team that included the Registrar, Mrs. Monisola Olapade, the PRO, Mr. Olusegun Ojolo and College Librarian, Mr. Soji Omirin among others was full of appreciation for the uncommon philanthropic gesture of the donor.


Some illustrious sons and daughter of Ijesaland that accompanied Asiwaju Yinka Fasuyi to Grand opening event included, Chief Akin Akinola, the Sawe of Ilesa, Rev. Prince Adelowo Adebiyi, Mr. Faniyi, Chief Mrs. Dupe Àjayi Gbadebo and Mr. Wale Idowu.
