The management team of Ilesa East Local Government headed by Barr. Timothy Olaolu Oginni (Council Manager) has embarked on the clearing of heaps of refuse at Irojo/Sabo Market in line with the directive given by His Excellency, Mr Gboyega Oyetola, the Executive Governor of the State of Osun, to all Council Managers through the Ministry of Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs.
In the course of the execution of the First Phase of the project, the heaps of refuse at the Palm Oil Sellers Unit in Irojo/Sabo Market, Ilesa in Ilesa East Local Government Area were cleared.
It is the plan of the management team of Ilesa East Local Government to continue with the project especially in the said market in phases with a view to ensuring that the market is get rid of the heaps of refuse causing nuisance, unhygienic situation and transmissible diseases in the market area in particular and Ilesa Township in general.
