Bimbo Amusan Foundation Gives Out Educational Materials to Students of Ode-Omu High School






The Bimbo Amusan Foundation (BAF), founded by Abimbola Amusan, on Wednesday 15th September 2021, distributed Exercise Books, Math Sets, and other educational materials to students of Ode-Omu High School, Ode-Omu, Ayedaade Local Government, Osun State. 





The BAF team commenced the day’s activity with a courtesy visit to the Alayegun of Ode-Omu, Oba James Oladipupo and the royal father commended the team for the laudable initiative.The program which was tagged “Back to school initiative” which held in the Ode-Omu High school auditorium, had high ranking members of the society in attendance to encourage and motivate students to be better members of the society whilst supporting them with these educational materials. 





The philanthropic gesture is as a result of Abimbola’s determination to ensure that he contributes his quota to the continuous development of the education sector in Osun State.


Speaking to us, Abimbola stated that the scheme is aimed at helping students advance academically in terms of retention, calculation, reading and writing. 




Abimbola Amusan is a lawyer and entrepreneur based in the USA. He is a barrister and solicitor of the Supreme Court of Nigeria, a member of the Nigerian Bar Association, the New York City Bar Association, the American Bar Association (ABA, the International Bar Association (IBA), the African Bar Association, World Youth Alliance, Project Management Institute and the Association of Professional Negotiators and Arbitrators. 


Abimbola is also a youth delegate to the United Nations Commission on the Status Women at the United Nations Headquarters in New York, an alumnus of the African Youth and Governance Conference, Former Count/President of the Prima Strata Club of the Obafemi Awolowo University.


Abimbola has been honoured severally with awards in recognition of his selfless leadership philosophy, philanthropic lifestyle, and model professionalism. He is of the belief that young persons should develop early interest in societal decision making and governance and they should also be given opportunities for such involvements.


The Bimbo Amusan Foundation has taken it upon herself to make it a charge of duty to grossly reduce the illiteracy menace that currently rocks the country Nigeria.


The Principal of Ode-Omu high-school, Mrs. Aladejuyigbe Modupe, rendered appreciation to the BAF team, whilst thanking the founder for his effective and proactive moves in curbing poverty and illiteracy in the State.
