It has been observed that Governor Oyetola's victory in the July 16 governorship poll of Osun State is non-negotiable for APC members and lovers in the state and it should be the premise on which every other ambition should be built.
The Osun East APC Senatorial candidate, Honourable Israel Ajibola Famurewa made the observation while speaking with newsmen shortly after been affirmed as the Senatorial candidate of the APC.
He urged APC members to go out of their comfort zones and cavass for votes for the candidacy of Governor Gboyega Oyetola, adding that the Governor is a marketable candidate given the successes recorded so far by his administration.
Honourable Famurewa who though emerged unopposed had to wait till late Saturday for the affirmation of card-carrying party members in a vote across the ten local government areas of the Senatorial district.
Announcing the result of the affirmative election, the returning officer for the election, Mr Fowowe Akinola said Honourable Famurewa polled Seventy-five thousand, five hundred and twenty-eight votes.
Honourable Famurewa however thanked all party members in the Senatorial district, all party leaders in the zone and Governor Gboyega Oyetola for the opportunity to serve saying party members and supporters should not rest on the oars as much still has to be done to emerge victorious in future election.

'I humbly and sincerely use this medium to appreciate all who played major roles in my emergence as the Senatorial Candidate of our great party, the All Progressives Congress (APC).
"I want to specifically and specially thank, Governor Gboyega Oyetola, Chief Bisi Akande, Prince Gboyega Famodun, Engineer Sola Akinwumi and Otunba Iyiola Omisore.
"I also thank our leaders, Chief Kunle Odeyemi, Chief Emiola Ogunsanya, Baba Sooko Adewoyin, Chief Jumoke Ogunkeyede, Risa Iloko Ijesa; High Chief Sola Ogunsanya, Elder James Oni, Engr. Bashir Awotorebo, Prince Omolade Binuyo and other leaders in and around our Senatorial district.
"I thank all party members for their unwavering support and loyalty.
