Osun Schools Security: Oyetola provides multi million naira perimeter wall fence in public schools.... other amenities to aid effective learning environment

The importance of providing adequate security for teachers and pupils/students of public schools in Osun state is one sure way of making learning environment to be conducive and attractive.

 

In the last four years ,  the administration of Mr Adegboyega Oyetola is not leaving any stone unturned in this directive as it has   provided  high quality perimeter wall fences  in different public schools in the state .

 

So far, over 39  schools to that effect have benefitted  from the scheme  as other schools have equally been penciled down to enjoy from the largesse .

Making these disclosures in relation to many  other  achievements made by Oyetola administration in the education sector was  the executive Secretary, SUBEB, Osun state,Mr Adeoye Bakare .

He declared that apart from serving as  a protective mechanism for teachers and pupils ,the perimeter wall  fencing has actually enhanced the aesthetic looks of all Osun public schools under Oyetolas government

 

The SUBEB Executive Secretary  maintained that "apart from the fact that Osun schools are  looking good, environmentally  homely and attractive ,they  have also  been effectively shielded from being invaded or encroached on by intruders .

"In addition,let me point out that with the increasing menace of vandalism, insecurity via the unwholesome activities of kidnappers here and there  ,Osun schools are now safe with the kind of security arrangements put in place.

"Oyetola administration particularly took into cognisance the kidnapping saga going on in many states in Nigeria,hence the need to be proactive by  putting in  place necessary security measures in order not to be caught off guard"

To further showcase the efforts of the administration in the  field of education particularly as it concerns  public primary and JSS schools,  Adeoye added that more that 7,500 school furniture have been provided for both teachers and students, stressing that  more will  still  be made available for them soon.

 

" With all these laudable gestures,It is not that the present administration is being over magnanimous in the education sector but it is basically geared towards ensuring the delivery of quality education."

 

"Lest i forget to mention that the present administration had similarly constructed about 100 units of 6 holes squatting toilets in addition to deep wells for all primary and Junior  secondary schools across the state .

"There are other on going projects too   in line with the administrations belief that education remains a catalyst for sustainable development especially at the basic school levels"
