Governor State of Osun Mr. Isiaka Gboyega Oyetola has described the Speaker State of Osun House of Assembly Rt. Hon. Timothy Owoeye as a reliable person.
Gov. Oyetola made this remarks at the 50th interdenominational birthday prayer session of the Osun Assembly Speaker in Osogbo on Wednesday.
He said the Speaker has been supportive of the present administration in the state.
He noted that the Speaker of the Parliament has been managing the state House of Assembly well.
According the governor "Hon. Owoeye is a good manager who has been managing the affairs of the state house of assembly well".
"He is a highly principled and a good leader... He is a loyal man who loves others". he added.
In their various goodwill messages, Rt. Hon Funminiyi Afuye of Ekiti State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. David Oloyelogun of Ondo state House of Assembly, the Clerk of the Osun House of Assembly Mr. Simeon Amusan, APC State Chairman Prince Gboyega Famodun all described the Speaker as a man of God and a loyal party man.
The prayer and holy books were led by Alfa Quadri, Pastor Ayeni Muyiwa, and Imam Abdul fatai Afolabi respectively.
The dignitaries at the occasion included the Osun First Lady, Alhadja Kafayat Oyetola, Osun Deputy Governor, Mr. Benedict Alabi, Hon. Ajibola Famurewa, Osun state Executive Committee members, State lawmakers, party leaders, council chairmen, House of Assembly staffs and well wishers.
However, the celebrant Rt. Hon. Timothy Owoeye in his remarks thank God for sparing his life while appreciating everyone who graced his birthday celebration.
