Engineer Israel Ajibola Famurewa stated this in a chat with newsmen at the coronation of the new Ogunsua of Modakeke, Oba Joseph Olabiyi Toriola.
He said traditional rulers play vital roles in entrenching democratic values as well as ensuring peace and tranquility in their domains and as such should be carried along in governance.

He congratulated the great people of Modakeke on the choice of Oba Toriola saying it is unique at a time like this to Foster unity and oneness among the people.
Engineer Famurewa said he is convinced that the new king will usher in development, resourceful engagement of the youth, peace and blessings to all the people of Modakeke.
He wished the new king a very prosperous and peaceful reign, as well as longevity to sustain his reign as a custodian of tradition in the ancient town.
