Adeleke Makes Maiden Visit to Osun House of Assembly, Solicites for Cooperation





The governor of Osun State Senator Ademola Nurudeen Jackson Adeleke has solicited for the cooperation of the Osun State House of Assembly members in his administration.


Governor Adeleke made this remarks in his speech during the first courtesy visit to the House of Assembly Osogbo.


According to him, "I want everyone to join me to move the state forward."

"I want hand of fellowship from you all and solicit your cooperation too" he added.




He noted that the government can not do it alone without the support of the State House of Assembly.


He said, "l promise that every one will be happy and there will be peace in the state".

He confirmed that his administration would continue from where the last administration stopped for the progress of the state.




In his remarks, the Speaker of the State House of Assembly Rt. Hon. Timothy Owoeye congratulated the governor on the success of his inauguration.


He described the House of Assembly as the bedrock of democracy.


According to him, "We must strengthen our channels of communication".


"Under my leadership, be rest assured that this Assembly will support your administration according to best global practices. Also, it is important that your administration continue to uphold the rule of law and principles of fair hearing. Any deviation from this path may lead to state of anarchy and crisis".

"We promise to continue with good relationship and harmony" he added.


He advised each arms of government to respect each other for the sake of good governance.

He urged everyone to put the interest of the state in his or her mind.
