PHOTOS: Famurewa embarks on voters education outreach in Oriade South

 

The candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for the Osun East Senatorial seat at the forthcoming February 25th and March 11th general elections, Engr. Ajibola Famurewa has embarked on campaign drive with a view to actualizing his aspiration of representing the district in the Senate.

As part of his engagement strategy, he, on Monday, met with the leadership and Members of the APC in Oriade South Ward 7, Owena-Ijesa , Ikeji-Arakeji Ward 7A, Ikeji-Ile, Ward 5 and Ira-Ikeji Ward 6.

Accompanied by the Chairman of the APC in the Oriade south LCDA, Hon. Gbenga Ajewole a.k.a, Golo.and Prince Olalekan Olashore who extolled the sterling qualities of Engr. Famurewa particularly as witnessed when he represented Ijesa South Federal Constituency at the 7th and 8th Green Chamber of the National Assembly.

Famurewa also seized the opportunity to  Campaign for Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu as the APC presidential candidate. Seun Odofin as the APC House of Representatives candidate for Ijesa North Federal Constituency and Hon Desmond Ojo as the Osun State House of Assembly candidate for Oriade state constituency as emphasized on the importance of voting for all APC candidates.

Famurewa gave his assurances to hit the ground running when elected because he is well versed in legislative functions and experienced in abilities necessary to get things done.

Educating the eligible voters, particularly women and youth at the gatherings, Famurewa urged those who have acquired their permanent voter cards to support all APC candidates for the 2023 elections as he hammered on the importance of  organizing door to door campaign for Tinubu in the incoming 2023 election in the local government.

He urged the entire electorates to come out en-masse and vote for APC.

He later paid a courtesy visit to the palace of HRM Oba Julius Oluropo Fatanmi, the Olura of Ira-Ikeji where prayers were also offered and his entourage had a consultative session with the royal father.
