Close associates, on Sunday, organized a birthday dance party to celebrate Engr. Oluyemi Omowaiye, the Osun state immediate past commissioner for works and transport.

His friends and political associates gathered at his Ileri-Oluwa/Tinubu/Shettima Campaign Office at Oke-omiru, Osogbo road, Ilesa to celebrate him.
Many speakers rained accolades on the celebrant as they affirmed the contributions of the Osun APC party stalwart to the political, economic and social development of the state, setting a standard in loyalty, leadership, governance and philanthropy, while referring to his exemplary life of courage and public service as commissioner where he made invaluable impacts on the infrastructural development of the state, many of his associates and his Ilesa West state constituency.
Of importance is the remark of the Onikoti of Ikoti, who noted his courage, resilience, selflessness and nobility in always placing the welfare of his people above self, setting a standard in leadership, governance and philanthropy.
The celebrant who flew in from abroad, appreciated God for mercies and protection.
