Nigerian comic actor, John Okafor, popularly known as Mr Ibu, on Tuesday celebrated his birthday while still in the hospital.
This was revealed in a video posted on his Instagram page.
In the video, Okafor was seen in a hospital ward wearing a patient gown, with some of his relatives around to celebrate his special day.
In his appreciation speech, he said, "I pray that God will continue to grant our efforts and give us peace in life."
Netizens also commented with prayers of healing for the actor.
Popekingsolo said, "He’s really in pains. God will heal you soon."
Another user, naijabobo, recalled the actor's roles on stage saying, "This man really made us laugh so hard. May God heal you ijn. Happy birthday sir."
Vin_vivy2 also commented, "Happy birthday Legend. Get well soon."
