Speaking during the advocacy campaign, Asiwaju Yinka Fasuyi noted that only few Ijesaland sons and daughters contributed through the ICDA into all the successfully executed projects such as the ultramodern Owa Obokun Adimula palace, the iconic Ijesaland Geriatric Centre, scholarship awards for indigents students at Ilesa Federal School of Technology and Science and Leventist Foundation Agricultural Training School amongst others.

"We all know that all fingers are not equal, the IDF initiative will enable majority of Ijesaland indigents and our friends to have access to taking part in the development of their community." Asiwaju remarked

The meeting overwhelmingly accepted the IDF initiative and had a significant impact on members of the foremost social club in Ijesaland present as the ICDA was charged not to delay the take off time of the laudable initiative. "Please speed up the starting date." Dr. Oginnni of Olive Private Hospital urged members of the ICDA after the general endorsement of the initiative.

It was also a resolution of the meeting to reduce the IDF participants age limit to 21 years from 25 years earlier mentioned in the presentation as other contributors digressed into other problematic challenges such as insecurity, illegal gold mining and uncontrollable sales of Ijesaland landed property to strangers, urging the ICDA to intensify efforts in finding lasting solutions.

Oba Engr. Olufemi Agunsoye Elegboro of Ijebujesa, a royal patron of the club showered encomium on Asiwaju Yinka Fasuyi, IDF initiator who described him as a gift to Ijesaland in this millennium as he thanked God for his impactful intervention in Ijesaland.

Other ICDA contingents included the Vice Chairman, Rev. Lowo Adebiyi, Alagba Wale Idowu, Chief Afolabi Igbaroola, Erelu  Jumoke Olafadehan and Mr. Bukola Fadipe.
