The Oba Titus Folorunso Adewale Foundation on Saturday 25th January, 2025 commissioned the Iroye Water Project, supported by 10'000 litres tank for uninterrupted water supply to be controlled by the community as the maintenance involving repairs and replacement of parts to be undertaken by the family and also commissioned the Ofokutu Royal Hall for community use, at an inspiring event held at Iroye Street, Ilesa East local government, Osun State, marking a new chapter in community-driven support in Ijesaland.
With distinguished representatives from Royal Fathers led by HRH Oba Olufemi Agunsoye Elegboro of Ijebujesa and Oba Adewale Oluwabukunmi Sunday, Ajemba of Ijemba, the OTF Adewale foundation celebrated its commitment to creating pathways to Educational Support for the Underprivileged, Advocacy for Justice and Equity, Promotion of ljesa Values and Cultural Heritage, Social and Economic Empowerment
The launch event was a moving experience, featuring a keynote address delivered by lawyer, poet, author and Gadfly, Ayantade Ipadeola, the Guest Speaker who spoke on the theme "The Nigeria State Impact on Yoruba Cultural Values".
Prince Victor Adewale, the head (Oloriebi) of Adewale family in his welcome address remarked that it was the Ofokutus that established Iroye community and the befitting Ofokutu hall is in recognition of the importance of the dynasty.
The spokesperson of the Ofokutu family, Barrister Boye Williams said the work of this initiative is to keep the memories the Ofokutu dynasty and that of the late Ajemba of Ijemba Oba Titus Adewale alive for generations to come. The initiative aims to touch the lives of vulnerable women and families across Ijesaland."
At the commissioning of the hall, the Royal Father of the Day, Oba Engr. Olufemi Agunsoye Elegboro of Ijebujesa implored the beneficiaries of the projects to put them into best use and imbibe the spirit of maintenance as he likened the initiative to sowing a seed into the future of our children.
The Chairman of the event, Senator Surajudeen Ajibola Bashiru, who was represented by Hon. Taofeek Gbadamosi Abolubode prayed that this foundation will achieve its mission of bringing hope, empowerment, and opportunity to those who need it most.
Prince Francis Adewale who presented Oba Titus Folorunso Adewale Foundation's Key focus areas, seized the occasion to delve in to some struggles of Ijesa rural communities highlighting that many are marginalized as he called for rural electrification of Ijemba-Ijesa.

Highlight of the occasion featured Mayegun Obafemi Opaaje's announcement of undergraduate all-paid expenses scholarship to Ijesa indigents admitted to study Bachelor of Arts in Yoruba language.
