The Owa Obokun of Ijesaland, Oba Clement Adesuyi Haastrup, has disclosed that plans are in the pipeline to unveil his economic master plan for Ijesaland .
The monarch made this announcement while hosting members of the Ijesa Sports Club, led by its Vice President, Chief Iyiola Ayinde Ishola, (who represented Otunba, Prince (Dr) Kayode Arimoro, the President who was unavoidably absent), alongside other members of the Club at IPEBI.
The paramount ruler of Ijesaland emphasized that the economic plan will encompass all critical sectors, aiming to enhance the growth and development of the entire six Local government Areas of Ijesaland.
He expressed his joy at hosting members of the Ijesa Sports Club, describing them as a dedicated group of elites determined to make meaningful contributions to the advancement of their homeland.
Speaking On behalf of the Club Members, Chief Iyiola Ayinde Ishola and Elder Kunle Odeyemi, a member of the Club’s Board of Trustees, noted that Ijesaland has witnessed a new dawn since the installation of Oba Haastrup.
They further pointed out that it is a longstanding tradition for the Owa Obokun of Ijesaland to serve as the patron of the Ijesa Sports Club, adding that their visit serves as an avenue to reinforce the bond between the monarch and the club.
They expressed confidence that the collaboration between the Owa Obokun and the club would foster greater unity and progress in Ijesaland.
