Owa Ajimoko III Charges Media Practitioners on Professionalism (Video of Aponjolosun rendition of Owa's eulogy)






The Owa Obokun Adimula and Paramount Ruler of Ijesaland His Imperial Majesty Oba Clement Adesuyi Haastrup, Ajimoko III  has charged media practitioners on professionalism and ethical standard in the discharge of their duties.




He gave the charge on Thursday in Ilesa , Osun State at the Ogboni of Ilesa quarters where he is observing the 90-day seclusion (Ipebi) preceding his official coronation, when he received radio presenters from radio stations in and around Ilesa and the CEO of KAKAKIOODUA Online Media services. The contingent was led by the Veteran Broadcaster Elder Abiodun Aponjolosun.




According to the Monarch, He described broadcasting as a critical element for the growth and development of the society and the nation at large 


The soft spoken Monarch, described the media as a very critical sector in the socio-economic development and growth of every society, hence the need for practitioners to live above board.


Speaking during the visitation, the Veteran Broadcaster Elder Abiodun Aponjolosun urged the Paramount Ruler of Ijesaland to preserve Ijesa Culture and Heritage just as his predecessors.

Meanwhile, The Broadcaster known for his usual eulogy rendition couldn't hide his talent in the presence of the monarch as he sang the ancestral eulogy of Oba Clement ADESUYI HAASTRUP.
