‎Fresh protests have erupted in Ghana just weeks after Ghanaians staged protests demanding Nigerians leave their country.

‎This is coming despite Ghanaian President John Mahama’s assurance to Nigerians.

‎In July Ghanaians staged protests demanding Nigerians leave their country.

‎Mahama last month stated there is no place for xenophobia in Ghana, assuring the Nigerian government of his commitment to the safety of Nigerians and their businesses in the country.

‎Mahama’s assurance came during a meeting with Nigeria’s Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Bianca Odumegwu-Ojukwu, at the Presidential Palace in Accra.

‎In one of the recent videos online, a man is seen complaining about Nigerians while in the other video, a lady is seen lamenting about Nigerians and other nationalities in Ghana.
