For Asiwaju Olayinka Fasuyi, this milestone is first and foremost an opportunity to return all Glory to God, the One who has preserved, guided, and blessed him through seven remarkable decades.
The entire celebration is anchored on this unshakable conviction: that life, leadership, and legacy are gifts from God, and thanksgiving is the highest expression of appreciation.
On this special day, Saturday 25th October 2025, the Cathedral Church of Holy Trinity, Omofe, Ilesa, will come alive at 10:00AM as family, friends, dignitaries, and well-wishers gather for a solemn Birthday Thanksgiving Service. It will be a time to lift voices in praise and gratitude to God for decades of divine favour, impactful leadership, and selfless service to humanity. With hymns of thanksgiving, heartfelt prayers, and messages of inspiration, the service will reflect the essence of a life lived under God’s grace and dedicated to the service of His people.
Following this spiritual celebration, the atmosphere will shift to one of elegance and festivity at the Zenababs Half Moon Event Center, Ilesa, where the Birthday Reception will be held. The reception has been thoughtfully organised to ensure the comfort, safety, and enjoyment of all guests, comprehensive security arrangements have been made to protect both lives and property, while ample seating has been provided so that every guest can relax and partake in the day’s joy.
Attendees will be treated to a sumptuous banquet, soul-lifting music from the Legendary Chief Commander Ebenezer Obey-Fabiyi, and a vibrant display of Ijesa cultural heritage.
