Osun APC Grateful To President Tinubu Over Olajolo's Appointment As National Admin Secretary

The Osun State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has hailed the appointment of Hon. (Barr.) Ayoola Peter Olajolo as the new National Administrative Secretary of the party at its national headquarters in Abuja.

In a statement issued by the Director of Media and Information of the party, Mogaji Kola Olabisi, today, the Osun APC chairman, Sooko Tajudeen Lawal, described the appointment as a bold and commendable decision of the national leadership of the APC under President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

Lawal noted that the choice of Olajolo was a recognition of loyalty, discipline and competence.

He explained that the elevation of Olajolo, a distinguished lawyer and grassroots politician from Ile-Ife, was not only a personal success for him but also a source of pride for the entire Osun State APC family.

The state APC chairman recalled that the late Dr. Kunle Adeniji, another illustrious son of Ile-Ife, had held the same position before his passing, stressing that the retention of the office in Ile-Ife shows the trust the party places in the Osun State leaders.

According to him: "Olajolo’s appointment is a strong encouragement to the party members in Osun State and across Nigeria.

"It is a proof that the APC, as a party, rewards loyalty, dedication and consistency.

"The appointment is not just about an individual but also about honouring the contributions of Osun State and Ile-Ife to the success of the APC nationally.

“The Osun APC is satisfied with this appointment because Barr. Olajolo is a man of proven integrity, loyalty and administrative experience.

"We deeply appreciate President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the APC leadership for this wise and rewarding decision.

"It is an encouragement to every loyal party member that hard work and commitment will always be recognised,” the statement read.

The Osun APC further noted that Barr. Olajolo has always stood firmly by the progressive cause and has never wavered in his dedication to the growth of the party.

Lawal stated that with his experience in law, governance and party management, he is well positioned to strengthen the administrative foundation of the APC at the national secretariat.

The party chairman also charged Olajolo to see his new role as a call to greater service.

He urged him to remain focused, disciplined and committed in his new responsibility, adding that "expectations are high that he will deliver beyond measure".

He explained further that the Osun State APC has no doubt that Olajolo will justify the trust reposed in him.

The statement concluded with prayers for divine wisdom and strength for the new National Administrative Secretary as he takes up his duties, assuring him of the total support of the Osun APC family.

It stressed further that his success in office will not only strengthen the APC in Abuja but also bring pride and joy to Osun State.
