Osun APC Celebrates Tinubu at 74, Hails Visionary Leadership

The Osun State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has joined millions of Nigerians in celebrating President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on the occasion of his 74th birthday, describing him as a visionary leader committed to national development.

In a statement issued on Sunday by the party’s Director of Media and Information, Mogaji Kola Olabisi, the Osun APC Chairman, Sooko Tajudeen Lawal, said the President’s birthday presents an opportunity to reflect on his lifetime of sacrifice, courage, and dedication to the unity and progress of Nigeria.

Lawal commended Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda, noting that it is steadily restoring confidence in the nation’s future. He said the administration’s policies align with the aspirations of ordinary Nigerians and demonstrate a leadership that understands the challenges facing the people.

The party also highlighted the President’s economic reforms, describing them as bold and necessary steps towards rebuilding and strengthening the country’s economy. According to Lawal, the policies are beginning to stabilise the economy, attract investments, and create new opportunities for businesses and individuals.

On education, the Osun APC chairman said the administration has shown strong commitment to improving access to quality learning and enhancing the nation’s education system. He noted that such efforts underscore the President’s belief in education as a key driver of national development.

Lawal further applauded the administration’s strides in infrastructure, particularly the proposed Ilesha–Ife–Ibadan Super Highway project, which he said holds significant potential for economic growth, improved transportation, and regional connectivity in the South-West.

He expressed appreciation to the President for his determination to reposition the country, acknowledging his courage in taking difficult decisions in the interest of long-term national progress.

The Osun APC maintained that under Tinubu’s leadership, Nigerians are gradually regaining hope and confidence in governance, adding that the Renewed Hope Agenda is already making meaningful impact across key sectors.

The party concluded by praying for continued strength, wisdom, and good health for the President, while reaffirming its support for his administration and commitment to building a more prosperous Nigeria.
