Members of the Osun APC Restoration Forum on Thursday joined Muslim faithful for a special Ramadan Iftar at the Ijebu-Jesa Central Mosque in Ijebu-Jesa, where prayers were offered for peace, unity and continued progress in Osun State and Nigeria.
During the gathering, participants highlighted the significance of spiritual reflection and collective prayers during the holy month of Ramadan. They also offered special prayers for the success of Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji, popularly known as AMBO, in the August 15, 2026 governorship election in Osun State.
Prayers were equally offered for the continued success of the Minister of Marine and Blue Economy, Adegboyega Oyetola, and for the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the 2027 presidential election. The forum asked God to grant the leaders wisdom, strength and good health to sustain purposeful leadership in the country.
In a statement issued after the prayer session, the forum urged eligible voters across Osun State to remain committed to the ideals of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and mobilize support for Oyebamiji in the 2026 governorship poll and Tinubu in the 2027 presidential election.
The group also called on Nigerians to continue praying for peace, stability and prosperity in the country and across the Middle East, noting that Ramadan offers a unique opportunity for reflection, unity and renewed commitment to national development.
Reaffirming its dedication to the unity and growth of the APC, the Osun APC Restoration Forum pledged continued support for leaders it described as committed to the development of Osun State and Nigeria.
The statement was jointly signed by the forum’s Coordinator, Abubakare Lukman, and Secretary, Ajilore Johnson.
