President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Friday night arrived at the Eagle Square to participate in the All Progressives Congress (APC) National Convention.
The President, who arrived at approximately 8:10 p.m., was warmly received by top party leaders and government officials, including Vice President Kashim Shettima, Senate President Godswill Akpabio, and Speaker of the House of Representatives Tajudeen Abbas.
The convention drew delegates from all 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory, gathering at the nation’s political event ground for the exercise expected to usher in new national officers of the ruling party ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Several dignitaries, including state governors, members of the National Assembly, and key party stakeholders, were also in attendance at the high-profile political gathering.
