President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and First Lady Oluremi Tinubu have paid glowing tribute to Enoch Adeboye, General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), on the occasion of his 84th birthday.
In a State House press statement released on Sunday, the President described Pastor Adeboye as “one of the nation’s greatest gifts” and a “spiritual fortress” who has consistently interceded for Nigeria and its people.
The presidential message praised the revered cleric’s humility and wisdom, noting that his impact extends far beyond the pulpit to philanthropy, healthcare, education, and economic empowerment initiatives across the country.
President Tinubu congratulated the clergyman, fondly known as Daddy G.O., as he marks his 84th birthday on March 2, 2026, and joined his wife, Pastor Foluke Adeboye, RCCG members, and the broader Christian community in expressing gratitude to God for what he described as an exceptional life of service and influence that transcends cultures and borders.
The President also commended Pastor Adeboye’s unwavering prayers for Nigeria and his demonstrated patriotism and commitment to national progress. He acknowledged the cleric’s leadership over the past five decades, stating that his teachings have continued to shape and transform lives across generations both within Nigeria and internationally.
As Pastor Adeboye celebrates his birthday, President Tinubu and the First Lady prayed for continued good health, strength, and grace for him to carry on his work in the Lord’s vineyard.
