A Special Adviser to Ademola Adeleke, Hon. Hammed Oluwafemi Anisu, has resigned his appointment with immediate effect.
In a resignation letter dated April 2, 2026, Anisu confirmed his exit from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), attributing his decision to personal reasons and future political considerations.
The former aide further revealed that following consultations with political associates and stakeholders, he has defected to the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Anisu’s resignation and defection come amid ongoing political realignments in Osun State, as preparations gradually intensify ahead of future electoral contests.
As of the time of filing this report, the Osun State Government has yet to issue an official response regarding his resignation.
