‎
‎Prince Abiodun Lufadeju, founder of Workteck Educational Services, has released a new musical video titled “Mr. Workteck in the City”, as part of efforts to promote vocational skills acquisition, creativity and entrepreneurship among children and young people.
‎
‎The musical video, which follows the earlier public presentation of its audio version a few weeks ago, is one of the innovative educational tools developed under the Workteck initiative to prepare young people for employment and productive engagement while they are still in school.
‎
‎Workteck is an employment education initiative designed to equip pupils and students with the knowledge, practical skills and entrepreneurial mindset required to navigate the world of work.
‎
‎The programme received the endorsement of the Osun State Ministry of Education in 2024 and has continued to make an impact in several public and private schools that have adopted its educational approach.
‎

‎According to Prince Lufadeju, the newly released video is designed to complement the initiative's mission by using music, entertainment and an engaging character to communicate the importance of vocational education and skills development.

‎
‎He explained that the video is also intended to encourage governments, communities, educational institutions, parents and other stakeholders to recognise skills acquisition as an essential component of efforts to address youth unemployment in Nigeria and across Africa.

‎
‎Describing the concept behind the production, Lufadeju said:
‎
‎“A SONG. A CHARACTER. A NEW VISION!”

‎
‎He further described Mr. Workteck in the City as a lively new sound introducing a character with a much bigger mission.

‎
‎According to him, Mr. Workteck represents more than an entertaining character; he embodies a vision of a society where skills, creativity, innovation and enterprise prepare children and young people for a productive and rewarding future.

‎
‎The initiative recognises that preparing young people for employment should begin long before they leave school. It therefore seeks to make skills education an integral part of the learning experience, helping young people discover their talents, develop practical competencies and appreciate the value of creating opportunities for themselves and others.

‎
‎Lufadeju expressed optimism that the musical video would attract wider public attention to the Workteck vision and inspire more stakeholders to support the movement for employment education and vocational skills development.

‎
‎“This is just the beginning,” he said, inviting members of the public to watch, enjoy and share the video, while joining the growing Workteck movement.
‎
‎With the release of Mr. Workteck in the City, Workteck Educational Services is using the creative power of music and visual storytelling to advance an important message: preparing children and young people for the future of work must begin today.
