Gentlemen of The Press,


I, HONOURABLE AJIBOLA ISRAEL FAMUREWA, CANDIDATE OF THE APC FOR OSUN EAST SENATORIAL DISTRICT IN THE 2019 FEBRUARY 16TH GENERAL ELECTION, HEREBY PRESENT MY MANIFESTO .

My Good People of Osun East Senatorial District,

The moment of truth is here again. The season of political engagement that will avail our people the ceaseless opportunities to promote good governance, adequate representation and people-oriented legislation above mediocrity has come. My political thought is the prism of value based principles of sound ideological strength, enshrined in progressivism imbibed from the doctrines of martyrs and patriarchs in our evolving democracy right from 1999. I have not never for once withered away, strayed from or lose track of service to mankind, service to humanity, service to our people which is rendered selflessly for optimum performance to enhance the living standards of the average constituent which I represent.

 To set the records straight, I am not an accidental public office holder, I have endeared myself to the wishes and desires of our people over and over again.

My party, The All Progressives Congress, APC has provided the better alternative on a national scale to the maladministration of the previous years by clear cut vision and mission to rebuilding the fallen walls of our dear country, reposition the federation and her federating units towards an enviable path of restoration and prosperity for the common good of all through well-structured programmes that brings back value for hopeless lives. We have expanded the frontiers of economic rejuvenation in all spheres of human endeavours, we have manifested change in real terms to the poorest amongst our citizenry, our attestation to this is evident in the massive infrastructural interventions in road, rail system and power. We have created direct impact in agriculture for a break-away revolution towards self-sufficiency, social investment programmes that guarantee job creation, valued created wealth among traders, artisans and farmers. Our policies in the education, health and defence ministries have transcended rot, inefficiency to effectiveness and service delivery that is good fruits.

 We are modest and transparent enough to ensure we maximize the full potential of our nation for international diplomatic fortunes for FDI. These verifiable developments MUST not stop, we must take it to the NEXT LEVEL. I am bold to say I have been part and parcel of every achievements of the President Muhammadu Buhari administration that  you see, read or hear in all communities of our constituency as I have contributed meaningfully my own quota as a Federal Legislator at the House of Representatives to every bills and motions.

The last 8 years have been full of commendable impacts, result oriented initiatives, redistribution of natural resources & wealth, critical interventions and constructive engagements, from my remote village in Atorin in Atakumosa East to Okutuope in Ilesa  East, Olorunsogo Ijesa in Atakumosa East to Osu in Atakumosa West local governments, I have visited all and touched the nooks and crannies to bring real dividends of democracy to the doorsteps of our electorates irrespective of party affiliation, religious beliefs or citizenship status. I have constructed new middle schools and renovated several hundreds of dilapidated classrooms, powered electrification projects by procurement of transformers to communities, provision of modern solar – power street lights, intervention by supporting our students with free remedial classes, vocational training for young artisans and financial assistance as start-up capital, financial empowerment for petty traders etc.

Going forward, when elected as your voice and image at the Senate, God willing, after  February 16th 2019 election, we shall continue to drive our people – oriented programmes by expanding the scope of vision for modification to cater for more beneficiaries. I shall run an all-inclusive and transparent representation that will give all equal leverage to access the full complements of the National Assembly. I shall use the experience of the last eight years to buffer workable solutions confronting Nigeria and Nigerians in the area of law making and legislation. I shall sponsor bills and motions that will have direct impact on the socio-economic lives of our people in all 10 LGAs that make the Ife-Ijesa Senatorial district. In doing that, I shall concentrate more on the following:
-Youth Employment, Engagement and Employment.
-Expansion of our Vocational Institutes to train the unemployed.
-Financial Grants for Traders , Farmers and Artisans.
- Scholarship and Bursary Grants for all Students in Tertiary institutions.
- Provision of Basic Social Amenities to Communities.
- Medical b Outreach to all LGAs.
- Facilitation of FG Intervention Projects.
- Regular Consultations and Town Hall Meetings with Constituents.

My dream stems from my resolve to offer my expertise and experience for the service of our people selflessly. I am more particularly concerned about the elevation of our Senatorial status for the benefit of all to advance peace, unity, progress and development that will make our state, Osun the best in the Southwest and Nigeria at large.

These dreams of mine are attainable and achievable only if we can partner together to advance the cause of "Ko Sun Soke 2019" which revolves round the aspirations of Hon. (Engr.) Ajibola Israel Famurewa FNSE.
