The immediate past governor of the State of Osun Ogbeni RaufAregbesola has sent a message to all Muslims as Ramadan begins today, Monday. He took to his Twitter handle and wrote;
"As we begin Ramadan, I urge us all to note the lessons and rites of sacrifice, tolerance, abstinence from sins and engaging in good deeds.
" Ramadan also presents a unique opportunity to us to pray for continued peace and progress of our country, our leaders and the development of our society
"We must not also forget to be charitable, assist in propagating Islam and be living towards everyone irrespective of faith, colour or ethnic background.
Ramadan Mubarak."
