Sunday the July 21st at the Sacred C & S Church headquarters One Iron, Ilesa, important dignitaries from all walks of live gathered to honour the State of Osun governor, Mr. Gboyega Oyetola for his success at the Supreme court over the appeal filed by the PDP and its gubernatorial candidate, Sen. Ademola Adeleke following the State of Osun 2018 governorship election.
The occasion was also to celebrate the successful inauguration of the 7th State of Osun House of Assembly and the emergence of Rt. Hon. Timothy Owoeye as the 5th Speaker of the House.
The governor was represented at the church service by his deputy, Mr. Benedict O. Alabi
In his sermon at the thanksgiving service, Superior Apostle E.O Robert described Governor Gboyega Oyetola as God chosen and called on political office holders never to make empty promises when looking for people's votes.
The church service was later followed by a reception dance party chaired by the erstwhile Osun Speaker. Chief. Najeem Salam with the Fuji music maestro, Adewale Ayuba on the band stand.
In attendance were all the serving 7th Osun Assembly legislators and their wives joined by APC loyalists, staff of Osun Assembly and numerous well wishers.
Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola was represented by Comrd. Olateju Olorungbebe. Others dignitaries included Sen. Ajibola Basiru, Hon. Babatunde Ayeni, Comes. Amitolu Shitu, Hon. Adejare Bello, Engr. Remi Omowaiye, traditional rulers and many others.
