Our Loyalty is Unshakable Says Adelugba

The Osun State Triangular Group of Pensioners paid a courtesy visit to the Speaker at the State of Osun House of Assembly today, the 15th of August, 2019. A number of delegates were present at the parliamentary session which was suitably anchored by the chairman of the association,  Prince Rotimi Adelugba.

The visit was deviced by the association in order to felicitate with Rt Hon Timothy Owoeye on his appointment as the Speaker and also to express their contentment in the administrative efficiency of the incumbent government under the APC contingent.

Prince Adelugba, in his address, recognized the unwavering support of Governor Gboyega Oyetola in the promotion of the ethical values of the association as well as the enhancement of the livelihood of pensioners in the State of Osun.

The Chairman, acting as the mouthpiece of the association also pledged their unabated commitment to ensuring the longevity and continuity of the progressive administration in the State of Osun.

After the Chairman took a respite, the Speaker responded favourably as he expressed his delight in the incentive and mannerism by which the Triangular Group of Pensioners handle their affairs without necessarily disrupting the serenity and tranquillity in the state.

He also stated that the government can not function  independently without the backing, approval and patronage of the people therefore he appreciated the contributory role of the association in his emergence as the Speaker and prayed that God Almighty further strengthens the cordial relationship between the pensioners and the state government.

The Speaker also allayed all forms of doubt in the Pensioners by promising to take into consideration every of their demands and requests. He emphasized that his position as the Speaker of the State House of Assembly has accorded him a responsibility that cut across the State and that he will have to draw from the wealth of knowledge of the aged and wise like many are found in the members of the Group. He assured them that the government and the Osun House of Assembly shall continue to appreciate the manner of approach of the Triangular group even when some aggrieved group of pensioners took to the street.
