Recently the State Government of Osun under the able leadership of His Excellency the Governor of the State of Osun, Alhaji Isiaka Gboyega Oyetola organized an investment summit to showcase the economic potentials of the State to the entire World. Part of the issues raised and adopted at the summit was an urgent need for Private Sector intervention in driving the economy of the State.
The State Government's efforts are already yielding results with the event of the formal unveiling of the landmark real estate development project called Central City Project on Thursday the 19th of December 2019 at the Center for Black Culture and International Understanding, Osogbo by 10:00am
In a press release signed by Arc. Muyiwa Ige, the Director General, Osun New Town And Growth Areas Development Authority, the New Town Projects, development partners are currently in partnership with the State Government in areas of provision of infrastructure at Zero cost to the Government.
The project to be unveiled on Thursday is divided into 3 sections. The first section is the industrial hub which will attract investors through incentives which are designed to solve problems of industrialization in Nigeria, some of those incentives include uninterrupted power supply, power subsidy, tax incentives, partnership for sourcing raw materials etc.
The project site has rail station which makes movement of goods and passengers easy. Industrial infrastructure like road, drainage, water among others shall be provided.
The second and the third sections are the farm settlement and residential development respectfully.
More details of the entire project shall be revealed formally by the Government of the State at the unveiling coming up tomorrow.
