The Ramadan Eid is here again. It is one of the most anticipated holidays of the Islamic community that marks the end of the Holy Month. But this year's celebration is not as usual as Muslims around the world will observe the Ramadan Eid celebration under lockdown and tight restriction due to Coronavirus outbreak that has paralyzed social and economic activities in the state and around the world.

The good news in Ilesa East Local Government is that the Council Chairman, Hon. Otunba Akeem Adesoji Olowoopejobori is reaching out to some vulnerable and needy Muslims of the Council.

Olowoopejobori is again distributing palliatives as a gesture aimed at cushioning the effect of the CODIV-19 pandemic at this material time of the lockdown and to enable some Muslims of the Council to have an enjoyable Ramadan Eid celebration.

Speaking to Kakaki Oodua Online News correspondent, the Council Chairman appealed to the entire people of Ilesa East Local Government to support the APC-led administration in all its programmes and policies so as to continue to experience and benefit from unprecedented development projects in the Council and the State of Osun in general.

The chairman also solicited for unalloyed support for governor of the state, Mr. Gboyega Oyetola, so that he will have a successful first term and a hitch-free second term as Osun governor.
